About learning by doing

Outside of school, there is no place where people are asked to sit, without access to information or their peers, and regurgitate facts and knowledge they’ve previously been lectured about and memorized. Outside of school, people utilize the resources and people around them to optimize the outcomes of their pursuits. So, why doesn’t school model the “real world”? Our students think it should, and we agree. That’s why students in Noble Impact have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience through high school apprenticeships.

Bringing back the apprenticeship model

Our first class of apprentices are now in session at eSTEM Public Charter High School. Stay tuned as they define and complete their projects with their community partner organizations!
